Do What With That Coffee Filter?

I started my spring cleaning and while cleaning out kitchen cabinets I found a ton of coffee filters. I don’t use them, they were left over from a previous machine. It seemed like a waste to toss them soooo, I Googled uses for coffee filters and wholly cow I was amazed.

The first thing I tried was you dampen a filter with vinegar and add a few drops of essential oil(I used lemon),rub it together a little and toss it in your dryer.A homemade fabric sheet! It worked awesome,no static cling and not sure why but my clothes smelled like I dried them on the line! Loved it and will continue to do this.

Next was I soaked two filters in brewed Chamomile tea and chilled them in fridge. I folded them twice and put them on my eyes…it felt so soothing and reduced some puffiness.

This one is a good one. Simple, place over bowl or plate in microwave and the filter catches all the splatter. Also better than using plastic.

Placing one in a planter or flower pot before you add soil with stop the soil from running out when you water your plants.

I tried this one too.Use to clean glass. It left no fuzzies,it worked great! Also used one to polish my furniture.

I’m sure there are many more uses, the possibilities are endless. So since out topic was coffee related here is a recipe using coffee…Enjoy!
